Residential Buildings for 360 IDPs to be built in Zugdidi

The process of construction of 8 residential buildings for IDP families in Zugdidi is underway. The apartment is being built for 960 families. Construction of 360 apartments will be completed in February.The project is financed by the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI).

The State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia along with Municipal Development Fund Director Giorgi Shengelia and Zugdidi Municipality Mayor Giorgi (Gega) Shengelia got acquainted with ongoing works.

 The state budget will cost GEL 60 million for the construction of 8 residential buildings.

Since 2013, the housing apartments provided to 867 IDP families.
