A choir school has been opened in Senaki

A choir school has been opened in Senaki.A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the municipality Mayor and the Folklore State Center of Georgia, after that, the Cultural-Educational Choir School  is under the patronage of the municipality. The purpose of the opening of the 23rd Choir School was to save a unique Georgian song included in the list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2001, keeping, promoting and passing it on to future generations.

The event attended by the Deputy of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Nino Vibliani, Senaki Municipality Mayor and Local government officials and representatives of the State Center of Folklore of Georgia.
