Central and local Government Representatives met with population of Senaki villages

Central and local government representatives have met with population of Old Senaki, Nokalakevi and Gejeti villages and become aware of their challenges and needs. Problems identified during the meeting will be envisaged in next year budget to find their solutions.   

The State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia, together with Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture and representatives of the local Government, has met the population of Senaki villages. The Representative of Government briefed about the projects to be implemented in the municipality, the efficiency of the village support program, agriculture projects, the State nut protection program etc.

During the meeting in Senaki, Nokalakevi and Gejeti, the local population put their priority on the rehabilitation of internal roads, water supply and shore protection.

After the meeting, the State Representative visited the old Senaki Public School, which needs rehabilitation. Alexander Motserelia promised the teachers to follow issues with relevant agencies and together them will soon respond to the problem

The state Representative also has been in the old Senaki outpatient clinic, which also needs rehabilitation.
