Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti decorated Zhiuli Shartava Monument with Flowers

 Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia, together with the other representatives of the Administration decorated the monument of national hero - Zhiuli Shartava with flowersand paid tribute to the memory of the killed in the war.

"The defeat of Sokhumi is one of the most tragic and painful days for Georgia. Today, we respect the memory of those killed in the war. Abkhazia is the pain of the nation- " the Governor said.

Today, Alexander Motserelia, along with representatives of Senaki Self-Government and Resource Center attended the event held at Zhiuli Shartava House Museum. One of the most tragic days in the recent history of Georgia - the day of the fall of Sokhumi was remembered. Representatives of the youth palace held a small event for the audience gathered in the house-museum.

"Today's event was very important that the day of the fall of Sokhumi and the national hero Jiuli Shartava were talking about the young people - the people who only remember Abkhazia. Such events are especially important because Abkhazia should never be removed from the memory of young genereations. "said Alexander Motserelia.
