Samegrelo Municipalities helping affected population of Chuberi

All the Municipalities of Samegrelo Region brought food products and primary consumption items to the population affected by natural disaster in Chuberi.

Incoming products will be distributed by the emergency headquarters in the families affected by the disaster. Distribution of products is underway for two days in the disaster zone.

As a result of abundant rainfall, the mountainous part of the village of Chuberi was caused by flooding the river Nenskra. Due to the flow of the riverbed, the surrounding area was flooded, causing traffic problems in the villages. Up to ten communities were left  outside.

All relevant agencies and services are involved in the disaster elimination works.
