5 New Kindergartens will be built in Samegrelo Region

Five new kindergartens will be constructed in Samegrelo. Two kindergartens in Zugdidi, one in Senaki  and one in Poti. Implementation of new kindergarten projects will be held in IDP settlements.

The planned projects were discussed at the meeting between Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor Levan Shonia and South Caucasus Regional Director of the Danish Council Vincent Donton.

The project will be implemented by the Danish Refugee Council, with the financial support of the German Development Bank (KFW). Within the framework of the program, various projects will be implemented together with the construction of kindergartens. As Vincent Donton noted at the meeting, a new house will be built in Samegrelo for more than 100 IDP families.

Levan Shonia, thanked the refugee Danish council representatives for the implemented and planned projects in the region and talked about the needs of the South Caucasus Regional Director of the Council of the Twelve.
