Field Session of the Committee on Agrarian Issues in Salkhino

Field session of the Committee on Agrarian Issues was held in village Salkhino of Martvili municipality, which was attended by representatives of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional governor and municipalities of the region.

The implementation of the 2015-2020 years of agriculture development and implementation of the Strategy of the Rural Development 2017-2020 was discussed at the committee session. First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture Nodar Kereselidze presented the strategy to the MPs.

The meeting was also attended by Zurab Lipartia, Head of the National Food Agency, about the measures against the pest spread in Western Georgia.

The third issue discussed at the session was the effectiveness of the information-consulting services.
