Population of village of Mikava in Tsalenjikha Municipality will use new road

Internal roads in the municipalities are actively underway. Road rehabilitation in Tsalenjikha is underway in the administrative unit of Mikava.

The project will be completed this summer, which will make the population easier to move around. Zurab Alavidze, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure visited the ongoing works together with Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Tsalenjikha-Chkhorotsku and Majoritarian MP and representatives of local government   Within the framework of the project, 6 km long road is being constructed to connect Tsalenjikha with Chkhorotsku Municipality.

The project was financed from the Funds to be implemented in the Regions and Local Budget. More than 2 million GEL was allocated. Up to 50 local people are employed on the ongoing works.
