Several villages of Khobi will have 24 hours water supply from Autumn

Water supply works for Khobi villages are actively in process of construction. The population of Kulevi, Shua Khorga  and Qarita will be provided with 24 hour water supply from September. These villages are suffering from water problem for decades. Until today the local municipality provides the population with drinking water with special water sinks.

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure together with Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Khobi Majoritarian MP and local government representatives visited the ongoing works.

The project envisages setting up a 34 km long water line. The works will be implemented in two stages and values   up to 1 million GEL.

The project is being implemented with financing   by local budget and regional project impelemtation fund.
