Prime Minister of Georgia Congratulates Poti Residents on Independence Day of Georgia

Irakli Kobakhidze, Head of Government of Georgia attended events dedicated to May 26 together with Irakli Chikovani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; David Songhulashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture; Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

In Poti's central square, the Agency of Protected Areas under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, together with the Batumi State Maritime Academy of the Maritime Transport Agency under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, offered visitors educational and entertainment activities.

A military equipment exhibition and an exposition and sale of products by local entrepreneurs were also held in Poti.

Visitors had the opportunity to participate in educational activities related to maritime themes.

The ceremonial events concluded with a gala concert.
