David Songulashvili: “ The Regional Departments play a crucial role in ensuring that local farmers fully benefit from the services and programs of the Ministry ”

Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr. David Songulashvili, met with the employees of the Agencies within the Ministry system in the Samegrelo region.

The employees of the National Food Agency, the State Agricultural Laboratory, Georgian Amelioration, and the regional departments of the Rural Development Agency attended the meeting.

In his address, the Minister highlighted the importance of the services provided by the Agencies and expressed gratitude to each employee for their dedication to the collective goal.

“ The Regional Departments play a crucial role in ensuring that local farmers fully benefit from the services and programs of the Ministry. Significant progress has been made in recent years and much has been achieved in strengthening regional services. However, we must remain mindful of the challenges ahead. It is important to hold meetings with the farmers in municipalities and receive information from them. Your active involvement is key to ensuring that our Ministry can respond swiftly and appropriately to the challenges we face in the agricultural and environmental protection areas,” said Mr. David Songulashvili.

The Deputies of the Minister, Mr. Kakha Kakabadze and Mr. Lasha Dolidze, the Minister of Agriculture of Adjara, Mr. Zaza Shavadze, and the State Representatives of Samegrelo, Guria, and Imereti regions, along with local Mayors and Heads of the Departments of the Ministry attended the meeting.
