Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti State Representative Malkhaz Toria met with U.S. Ambassador Kelly Degnan.

A kickoff meeting, which was held in the administration of the State Representative, was attended by Zugdidi Mayor Giorgi Shengelia, Cultural Attaché Althea Cole-Murphy and political advisor William Siber.

The State Representative thanked the Ambassador of the United States of America for the strategic partnership, support and assistance of the country and the region.

I would also like to highlight the activities of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, which has completely rehabilitated a number of schools in our region and given additional thousands of students the opportunity to benefit from modern educational infrastructure.
