To prevent the spread of coronavirus held the Interagency Council meeting of the local operational headquarters of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
The meeting was chaired by the State Representative Malkhaz Toria and was attended by members of the council, representatives of various regional structures, mayors, representatives of the Department of Labor Inspection, Disease Control and Public Health Center.
The State Representative discussed with the specialists the epidemiological situation in the region, joint measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, listened to the situation in clinics and quarantine zones.
The issue of vaccination was also discussed at the meeting. The operational staff also considered tightening control over the wearing of personal vests, which will involve staff from the Department of Labor Inspection, along with police and local governments. By this time, there has been a slight increase in the number of infections across the region, with the positive rate increasing from 1% to 1.3%.
To date, 244 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the region, of whom 87 are being treated at five co-clinics in the region. According to today's data, 366 citizens are in self-isolation throughout the region. There are 3 quarantine areas in the region (Palmbich, Pratap, Anaklia), where 110 citizens are in quarantine.
