New Administrative Building and Vehicle of European Standards Handed Over to Zugdidi
A new administrative building and a compliant to European standards vehicle have been handed over to Zugdidi Emergency Medical Service.
Starting from today personnel of Zugdidi Emergency Medical Service will be working in new working environment, with a renovated autopark.
Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ekaterine Tikaradze together with deputies of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Malkhaz Toria, Davit Verava, Luduk Khasia, Zugdidi Municipality Mayor Giorgi Shengelia and Director of Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center, Avtandil Talkvadze opened the new building and personally congratulated the staff on introduced innovations. New, complaint with international standards building is designed with consideration of the peculiarities of emergency medical services, all work and rest conditions for the staff are put in place.
As for renewed autopark, Zugdidi Emergency Medical Service received in total 5 new, fully equipped vehicles, out of this, 4 are ambulance vehicles and one is a reanomobile, that used for transportation of the patients in critical conditions amongst the clinics. 25 new administrative buildings of the Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center have been already opened in the region, construction of additional 28 centers is ongoing.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure jointly with local self-government bodies.
On July 21, 2020 the autopark of the Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center has been renovated once again. 60 new vehicles have been handed over to the Center which are being distributed in Tbilisi and the regions based on the need.
