Visit Samgrelo - Alexander Motserelia Continues the campaign to popularize the region in Poti

The State Representative Alexander Motserelia continues the campaign to promote tourism in the region. After Chkhorotsku, the State Representative visited the tourist locations in Poti. Alexander Motserelia advises citizens to visit Kolkheti National Park.

Kolkheti National Park includes the eastern shore of the Black Sea and the basins of Lake Paliastomi and the valley of the river Pichori.The national park is designed to protect and preserve Kolkheti's internationally important wetland ecosystems.

The Georgian Agency for Protected Areas, in Kolkheti National Park, offers tourists tours of Paliastomi Lake and the Phichori River Valley, as well as sport fishing, birdwatching and eco-educational tours.

The State Representative will launch a campaign to promote the tourist area in all municipalities. Along with popular tourist locations, the main focus will be on the introduction and popularization of lesser-known tourist sites, the project aims to increase domestic tourism in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region and thus help citizens employed in tourism. Alexander Motserelia advises citizens to take into account the recommendations developed for the prevention of COVID19 spread during the trip.

The State Representative together with Deputies Malkhaz Toria, Davit Verava and the Mayor of Poti City Gocha Kurdghelia visited the tourist facilities in Poti.
