The church is being built next to Gamsakhurdia Memorial Museum in Khibula

The foundation of the temple was consecrated in  the area next to Zviad Gamsakhurdia Memorial House Museum in the village Old Khibula. Along  with St. Lazarus Restoration Temple will be built parish school and church (bell) tower, a square will be arranged too. Today Poti and Khobi Metropolitan Gregory together  with the clergy of the diocese consecrated the foundation of the church. The construction of the complex is funded by “Cartu” Foundation.

The blessing ceremonyattended by  the State representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti  Alexander Motserelia, Khobi Municipality Mayor Gocha Kajaia and MP Irakli (Dachi) Beraia.

Zviad Gamsakhurdia Memorial Museum rehabilitation works are in the final stages of completion,  construction of a two-story kindergarten has already been completed in the village. Like the temple, the project is implementing by “Cartu Group.”
