In 2019, the most projects implemented in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region within the framework of the Village Support Program

In 2019, the most infrastructure projects implemented in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region within the framework of the Village Support Program. The total amount of projects was 1061.

Last  year, besides allocation from central budget, the municipalities' co-financing for the projects implementation amounted to GEL 6 million. The funds were divided into the following categories: Road rehabilitation, outdoor lighting and sports infrastructure, water supply systems, landscaping of the cemetery and drainage canal cleaning. The budget of the “Village Support Program” this year will 40 million Gel as well as the last year. After  analyzing the projects selected last year,the minor changes will be made to the list of projects and road sections will be added to existing categories, according to the decree of the Government of Georgia.
