Celebration of “Egrisoba 2019” in Senaki

On 2 November 2019, the annual “Egrisoba” festival was held at the historic fortress of Noqalaqevi. Distinguished guests included the The State Representative of Samegrelo -Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia together with deputies, MP’s Otar Danelia and representatives of regional and local authorities.

Within  the framework of the event  was founded the cheese festival, were presented about 30 varieties of Georgian cheese and cheese products. Chairman of the Board of the “Georgian Cheese Producers Union-Guild” Ana Mikadze-Chikvaidze,  talked about on the History and Technology of Georgian cheese origin, also founder of the Georgian Gastronomic Museum Esma Kunchulia introduced Georgian cuisine. In  Nokalakevi presented Ethnographic corners, exhibited Agro products, the  samples of folk crafts and paintings by local creators.

At the end of the event held the concert and aworded the “Honorable Senakeli”.
