The Information meeting on NATO and EU held in the State Representative Administration
Within the framework of the NATO Days 2019 in Georgia, The Information meeting on Euro-Atlantic integration issues held in the State Representative Administration for representatives of local self-government, media and civil society, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Information Center on NATO and the EU.
At the meeting the Regional Representative of Information Center in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Ana Tsanava and Director of the Department of NATO Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Nardaya talked about on Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration process, NATO-Georgia cooperation mechanisms, existing achievements and challenges.
The meeting attended by the Deputies of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Davit Partsvania, Davit Verava, the mayors of the municipalities of the region and the chairmen of the city councils. This year, NATO Days are especially celebrated in the regions of Georgia. Up to 70 events will be held in the regions organized by NATO and EU Information Center with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Specifically, in 10 regions of the country, within the framework of NATO Days meetings are planned with pupils, students, teachers, With public officials, local authorities, ethnic minorities, villages near the occupation line, media and etc.
