Meetings with local population in Ledarsale, Khanski and Khabume

Government Representatives have met with population in the villages of Chkhorotsku municipality and become aware of their challenges and needs. Problems identified during the meeting will be envisaged in next year budget to find their solutions.  in the villages of Tchkhorotsku the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Aleksander Motserelia together with majoritarian MP of Tsalenjikha-Chkhorotsku Mr. Goga Gulordava, Mayor and Chairman of the City Council met with local population. Government representatives briefed locals about the program which is implemented by the government; special attention was paid to agricultural projects and programs. The efficiency of the village support program and involvement of citizen was particularly emphasized, and also the fact, that the local population is so flexible to choose the projects to be implemented. 

107 projects are being implemented by the village support program in the Municipality; besides that, one school is to be built in Chkhorotsku this year and 7 schools will be rehabilitated; 5 outpatient clinics will be built, and several water supply, road rehabilitation and street illumination projects are being implemented.

During the meetings in Chkhorotsku, the population called their attention to main needs and problems of the community such as internal roads and shore protection issue. The meetings were held in question-answer mode.
