The access roads and safety dams leading towards Intsra waterfall have been arranged with the initiative of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Aleksander Motserelia.
Footpaths have been cleaned and expanded. The State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Alexander Motserelia together with Tsalenjikha and Zugdidi Local-Self Government Representatives were among the team of several volunteers arranging safe and sound environment for tourists in the valley.
Alexander Motserelia made a visit to Intsra Gorge last month and upon the visit he worked out a plan to arrange security dams and footpaths for sightseers.
The State Representative is addressing to business sector to make investment in the development of unique tourist facilities in Samegrelo. The road to the Intsra Gorge is also being rehabilitated in the village of Chkvaleri which will make it easier for tourists to reach the gorge.
There is a 32-meter waterfall, a cave and a canyon in the Intsra Gorge. The waterfall and the canyon is engulfed in the mosses and surrounded by the centuries-old trees, which makes it an amazing sight.
