Government officials have met with locals In Senaki villages
Central and local government representatives have met with population of Senaki villages and become aware of their challenges and needs. Problems identified during the meeting will be envisaged in next year budget to find their solutions. This time the meetings were held in the administrative units of Chaladidi, Teklati and Akhalsopeli in Senaki Municipality.
At the meeting with population talked about the State programs, special attention paied on infrastructure, health, social care and agriculture projects.
The meeting wasattanded by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Begiashvili, First Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia Zaza Bokhua, Senaki majoritarian MP Irakli Beraia and local authorities.
The Representative of Government briefed about the projects to be implemented in Senaki municipality, the efficiency of the village support program, agriculture projects, the State nut protection program etc.
During the meeting, the population put their priority on the rehabilitation of internal roads, village gasification issue and water supply rehabilitation.
Problems identified during the meeting will be envisaged in next year budget to find their solutions.
After the meeting the State Representative got acquainted with the current situation at Chaladidi and Teklati schools.
They have also been to Chaladidi, checking a floating bridge over the Rioni river which is to be rehabilitated rehabilitation within the new project.
