International Folk Festival opened in Martvili

International Folklore Festival "Land of Legends" was opened in Martvili.

Ensembles and Groups from all over Georgia, Thailand, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Belarus participate in it. At the opening ceremony, the ensembles presented their country’s folklore shows.

The opening ceremony was attended by the head of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Administration Levan Tsulaia, Deputy Head of Local Self-Government relations department Lasha Gvasalia and local Government Representatives.

Within the framework of the project, festival will be held in Poti, Abasha and Khoni. The closing ceremony of the festival will take place on July 25 at 8 pm in Martvili.
