Monitoring and Development Working Group Meeting
The State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti has held meeting of the Working Group of Monitoring and Development of State Youth Policy in administration building today.
The Working Group was created under the initiative of the Parliament of Georgia and Committee of Youth Affairs. The aim of the committee is to support to revision of the current document of the Youth Policy and drafting recommendations for its renewal and also improve coordination among central and local governmental, non-governmental and other entities engaged in youth policy to further prepare recommendations promoting structured dialogue. The working group consists of representatives of legislative and executive branches, international and donor organizations, civil society organizations and invited experts.
Currently, under the initiative of the Parliament of Georgia and with the support of UN agencies in Georgia, "Georgian State Youth Policy Development Action Plan” is being evaluated based on research of Georgian practices on central, local and regional levels.
The meeting was attended by head of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Levan Tsulaia, Deputy of Zugdidi Meyor Konstantine Kakava and local Self-Government officials.
