The new building of emergency center opened in Abasha
Emergency medical personnel of Abasha will have a new working environment as of today. Administrative building was opened by Ms. Ekaterine Tikaradze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia and Mr. Alexander Motserelia the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti along with Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center, Mr. Avtandil Talakvadze, Abasha and Martvili Majoritarian MP Otar Danelia and Mr. Levan Makalatia Mayor of Abasha.
An administrative building corresponding to international standards has been projected in accordance to the specificities of emergency medical aid and is fully equipped with both household and office equipment. All the working and resilience promoting conditions are created for healthcare workers. A special room is allocated for proper storage of medical materials. The external perimeter of the building is setup for Emergency auto-park.
Until now, the medical emergency center of Abasha was operating in an old building having unsuitable working conditions.
Provision of administrative building for Emergency Situation Coordination and Urgent Assistance Center was supported by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure in collaboration with local self-government.
