Funding will be increased for Regional Development Projects being on schedule as of 2020 in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti

At the State Representative Administration of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti reviewed planned infrastructural projects to be supported from the “Regional Development Project Funds” in 2020 and discussed the most prioritized directions. The workshop was headed by the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia and Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Begiashvili. The Majorities, Deputies of the State Representative, the mayors of the municipalities of the Region, Sakrebulo chairmen and heads of municipal infrastructure departments attended the meeting as well.  

In comparison with the current year, subsidies allocated from the Regional Development Project Funds will have more than 14 thousand GEL increase as of 2020. At the meeting Alexander Motserelia highlighted the number of projects and the growing tendency of funding, as well as timely and quality performance of works. At the meeting attention was emphasized on such infrastructural projects as the road infrastructure arrangement, culture, sports facilities, rehabilitation of gardens and schools, construction and rehabilitation of outpatient and emergency facilities, prevention of disaster and rural support. The discussion was also focusing on the timely implementation and fulfillment of the projects in 2019.
