Alexander Motserelia observed the current infrastructural projects in Abasha
Rehabilitation of facades of multi-dwelling residential buildings is underway in Abasha. In general, up to 20 multi-storey apartments’ damaged facades will be restored.
The State Representative of Samegrelo- Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia together with Abasha Meyor Levan Makalatia got acquainted with the rehabilitation works. Then he met with the population living there and become aware of their challenges and needs. The cost of rehabilitation of multi-dwelling houses is more than 600 thousand GEL and it is being implemented with the Funds of Regional Development Project coming from local budget. 30 local residents are employed in rehabilitation works. Alexander Motserelia also observed the rehabilitation of sidewalks in Abasha. Because of unarranged sidewalks the pedestrians had to move alongside the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze central highway which was of course unsafe.
The project envisages arrangement of 3-meter width sidewalks on both sides across 1600 meters of the highway running through Abasha. A bike path will be arranged and the entrances of private houses are also supposed to be arranged. The cost of the rehabilitation project is 700 thousand GEL and it is funded by the Regional Development Projects and local budget.
