Road rehabilitation works are underway in Zugdidi

The State Representative of Samegrelo –Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia and the newly elected Mayor of Zugdidi, Giorgi Shengelia visited ongoing works. 

More than 100 streets are being under rehabilitation in the town; in addition, new road infrastructure is being built in 10 streets of the town. According to the statement of the newly elected Mayor of Municipality, road infrastructure problems will have been fully eradicated by 2021.

The problems on the roads in Zugdidi have occurred as a consequence of water and sewage network rehabilitation. Heretofore, there had not been centralized underground communications’ system in the city.
