Alexandr Motserelia observed the unique Kolkhian Oda

The State Representative of Samegrelo- Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia has visited and sighted the Kukhaleishvili’s Oda located in the village Akhuti of Chkhorotsku Municipality which represents a cultural heritage monument.

The unique Megrelian Oda counts 170 years. Due to its poor condition it needs overroofing with consistent material. As the State Representative explained, he had already had consultations about this issue with the Head of National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation and in the near future a number of specialists would be studying the subject on the spot, upon which the rehabilitation works would be planned.

Later than he met Akhuti population and got acquainted with existing problems and needs of the village.
