“Discover Green'' with the State Representative

The celebration of World Earth Day also known as International Mother Earth Day was held In Zugdidi within the Project "Discover Green" of the Association "DEA" together with the State Representative of Samegrelo Zemo-Svaneti Alexander Motserelia.

The goal of the meeting is to provide talks between decision-makers and youth on the green economy as well as to have discussions on their needs-based and demand-oriented initiatives and their further implementation.

Young people had chance to share views of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti on Green Economy and Discover Green in his vision.

They also voiced their ideas for the project “Your idea for the State Representative”.

The meeting is important in terms of regional youth policy implementation, which will promote environmental protection events and Increase youth’s participation in municipality governance. 

The meeting was also attended by Deputy of the State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - Nino Vibliani and local Government representatives.
