Rehabilitation works of IDPs Compact Settlements are actively Underway

Irakli Jikia, Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region continues to monitor the rehabilitation works of damaged buildings as a result of disaster in Zugdidi Municipality. Deputy Governor, representative of Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Development Irakli Topuria and the Municipal Council Chairman Mamuka Tsotseria visited compact settlements of IDPs in Rukhi and October Administrative units, and got aquainted with active rehabilitation works on the site. On 30 November of this year, the strong wind completely damaged the rooves of the IDPs settlements in the villages of Rukhi and October. Restoration works will be completed in the nearest future.
