Aleksandre Motserelia met NGOs interested in Regional Development
The Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia met with Czech NGO "People in Need" and partner organization "RCDA" together with MP Merab Kravaia. The main purpose of the regional meeting was to promote dialogue between the representatives of farmers, business and state structures and discuss existing resources.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of the local governments, civil and private sectors, international and non-governmental organizations working in agriculture and in the direction of agriculture, who discussed challenges and opportunities for free trade with Europe.
"As you know by activating DCFTA , the goods and services produced in Georgia, in case of certain conditions, will be opened to the world's largest market, which at this stage unites 28 countries and more than 500 million customers. Free transfer of goods and services will contribute to the growth potential of our region and the region will become attractive for investors, which will create new jobs, -Alexander Motserelia said.
The meeting was held within the framework of the EU-funded project "Civil Society Organizations to Support Free Trade with Europe".
