Aleksandre Motsereliai met with specialists in the field to restore nutrient farming in the region

   Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Alexander Motserelia met with scientists of the Agricultural Research Center and representatives of "Elkana" Organization.

,,For the promotion of effective care of hazelnut culture in the population, I'm ready to use all the resources that the state Representative has, -stated Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region at the beginning of the meeting.

The main topic of discussion at the meeting was the farmers' hazelnut harvest and the means of planting the vegetable culture, as well as the soil research on different locations.

Discussions were also held about warning and restoration of the nut culture, as the main source of income of Samegrelo population .The representative of "Elkana" expressed full readiness to carry out monitoring of the ongoing processes together with consultations. It was planned to shoot a short-length documentary that will promote the use of hazelnut farming methods to inform each resident of the region.

At the end of the meeting, the Governor announced the invitation of the agriculture sector specialists, competent organizations, scientists and other representatives for the development strategy.
