Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Tourism Development Symposium opened in Anaklia
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor Aleksandre Motserelia, his Deputy Nino Vibiani and Brian King, the Head of USAID project "ZRDA", together with Tornike Zirakishvili, Deputy Director of the National Tourism Administration, opened the Regional Symposium on Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Tourism development. The purpose of the symposium is to determine the problems and challenges related to tourism development in the region, to set priorities that will support the promotion of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti globally and present it as one of the best tourist regions of Georgia. Within the framework of the project "ZRDA", the Georgian National Tourism Administration and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Administration have established a working group that will develop agro, eco, adventure and cultural tourism in the Region.
