''Youth Festival 2018'' begins

The "Youth Festival 2018" is organized by the "Children and Youth National Center" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The sport festival consists of three stages and includes: municipal, regional and final tournaments.

In the frames of the festival, sports activities will be held in four types of sports: football, basketball, sprint and chess. Regional tournament will be held in Zugdidi on May 20, 21 and 22, where the winner teams of the municipalities will take part.

With regard to the festival, head of the State Representative-Governor's office,Regional Projects Coordination Service and Head of municipality Sports Services met the representatives of the "Children and Youth National Center".Festival preparatory works were discussed at workshop.

The program "Youth Festival 2018" is implemented within the project "Without Sports Barriers" aimed at promoting sports and cultural activities and introduction of a healthy lifestyle in young people.
