Action of cleaning river banks regarding to the International Day of Water Reservation

Cleaning action of river banks was held In Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti municipalities regarding to the International Day of Water Reservation.

Volunteers and public officials cleaned the river banks on various locations. The municipality Mayors and chairmen of the City Councils have joined the cleaning action.

The cleaning action was organized by the administration of the governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and local self-governments under the initiative of the Greens Movement of Georgia / Friends of the Earth " within the framework of the campaign" Blue Stream ".

On March 22, International Day for Water Resources will be celebrated by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
