The second stage of construction of Zugdidi central stadium begins

The tender will be announced on the construction of second stage of Zugdidi Central Stadium, before that the representatives of the Georgian Football Federation met representatives of the regional administration and Zugdidi City Hall.                      

Several days ago, the President of the Federation, Levan Kobiashvili, together with the governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and Mayor of Zugdidi visited the stadium.

Today the meeting was held with the head of GFF's stadium department Mamuka Kvaratskhelia, where the second stage of the construction of the stadium was discussed in detail. The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor David Kodua, Zugdidi City Council Chairperson Mamuka Tsotseria  and representatives of the relevant services of the City Hall.

The second stage involves roofing, lighting, ventilation work and installation of modern standards.

The tender will be announced on the second stage of the stadium in the nearest future,  after the Football Federation applies the City Hall officially.

"I would like to remind you that the Zugdidi stadium will exceed the third category requirements, for example, if the minimum number of viewers in the third category is 4,500,  more than 7 000 will be placed here,  the length and width of the field will be 105 -68. There will be over 200 places in the honorable guest's lounge. After the second stage works, the stadium will have a good quality electric strap. You know that UEFA has made it necessary to install the tours and the safety concept of the stadium. In short, those small deviations that will soon be improved in the construction process and together with the Zugdidi people I will enjoy the beauty of your stadium!

Zugdidi stadium is not the only new stadium in Georgia where we are writing in our native Georgian language - Zugdidi! After finishing second stage of Zugdidi central stadium, the city will have a third category of UEFA standards.
