New Bridge onstructed on the river Korati in Khobi Municipality

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure  together  wih the deputy governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Khobi Majoritarian MP and local government representatives inspected the new-constructed  bridge on the river Korati. The construction of a new bridge over the 2nd kilometer of Chaladidi-Khorga-Khobi roadway  has ended.

The existing bridge was badly damaged and could not respond  modern transport requirements.

In order to solve the problem, a new triple bridge crossing was built. Local road connections  and new road signs were arranged. The length of the bridge is 55 meters, and the width is 10.95 meters.

As a result of the construction of the new bridge, traveling to Chaladidi-Khorga Khobi highway became more secure and comfortable.

The project was financed by the State Budget and was implemented by Road Department .Its value amounted to 1 677 000 GEL. 22 people were employed within the project.
