Zugdidi to Enjoy 24/7 Water Supply Starting Next Year
Starting next year, Zugdidi will receive 24/7 water supply—Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, accompanied by Minister Zurab Alavidze of Regional Development and Infrastructure, visited the ongoing construction site of the centralized water supply system.
The project involves constructing a water distribution network, a pumping station, reservoirs, and a main water pipe.
After the completion of works, a decades-long problem facing the locals will be solved, and a 24/7 water supply will be provided. The 84,970,765 GEL project is financed by the Asian Development Bank. The construction, employing 150 people, will be completed in 2018.
